<![CDATA[Gavin's Gifts Charity

A couple of weeks ago, we were contacted by a very special family that was in need of the "Specially Made" white casket with gold trim, and pink on the inside. They live in Illinois I'll spare the details, but long story short, I shipped this casket all the way to Illinois. Unfortunately they didn't end up using it because the vault that they had to use was smaller than the casket.

BUT, this family is SOOO generous. They were so appreciative, that they designated that all donations go to "Gavin's Gifts Charity". See here. They also said that they wanted to donate monthly and get us lots of donations for our charity.

It's so humbling to have a family love what we do so much. I'm not used to that. I started this charity to be able to do something good in my son's name. HE'S the inspiration behind it. I just want to be one of those special services that no one knows about, unless you need it. There are so many good organizations out there for families that have a stillborn child. Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep is just one organization that comes to mind. I want to be like them. No one's heard of them, unless they've had a stillborn child. Then you really appreciate what they do.

Thanks to this family for all their kind words, and also to the anonymous donor that deposited $500 into my Gavin's Gifts account without me even knowing it. I just realized it this morning. I don't know who to thank, so I am publicly thanking them. THANK YOU!!! You will make a difference in many lives because of it. You've already made my day better!
